A work programme for unemployed autistic adults
With thanks to funding from the European Social Fund and LLC, Aspie Trainers have an opportunity to run a new programme supporting unemployed autistic adults to deliver autism training whilst being supported to develop their career and work skills.
The programme is designed to support unemployed autistic adults to set goals and work towards careers whilst also providing the opportunity for them to build the confidence and experience to help them achieve these goals.
How the programme works:

The programme will take place over 6 months

Participants will be supported through a short train the trainer course

Participants will shadow current Aspie Trainers before being supported to deliver their own autism training sessions

Participants will also have the opportunity to access volunteering roles within Impact Initiatives relevant to their interests and goals

Participants will be supported with career development including CV writing, interview skills and rights in the work place
Who can apply?
Applicants must:

Be diagnosed with autism/ Asperger’s/ASC/ASD

Be over the age of 18

Be unemployed

Be a UK or EU citizen
