Welcome to our website!
Aspie Trainers is a training organisation which aims to improve services for people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASCs) living in West Sussex. We do this by employing the real experts – people with ASCs themselves – to deliver bespoke autism training from a first-person perspective.
For more info about us and the services we can provide, check out Our Services page. If you’re interested in using our services, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Alternatively, you can always tweet us @AspieWS, or find us on Facebook.
We have secured some funding!
Aspie Trainers are delighted to announce that we have received some funding from the National Lottery Community Fund! We would like to thank National Lottery players for enabling us to continue our work, which means we will now be able to train younger autistic people (aged 18-24) to become trainers themselves. More news on this to follow! #NationalLottery
Forthcoming Training Workshops: 2019
Our forthcoming training sessions are shown on this calendar. These Introduction to Autism sessions will outline the difficulties autistic people face including communication and sensory issues, whilst providing our attendees an opportunity to ask questions and receive some tips on how to interact with autistic people. The sessions are suitable for anyone who supports or works alongside autistic individuals, or anyone interested in finding more about autism.
How to Book
On the calendar our training sessions are highlighted with an orange background. You can book your place by clicking/tapping on the session of your choice, and then clicking/tapping the "Register Now!" button. Alternatively, contact us to find out more.
